Vigo OneTouch

Vigo may be mounted in hallways, conference rooms, patient rooms or lounges. Within a patient room or clinical care setting, Vigo may be mounted the following ways:

Vigo OneTouch™ Features and Functions

Vigo OneTouch™ is a swing arm mounted touch screen that can be positioned for patient use or adjusted for bedside charting. All of the above services are available, plus:

  • Magnetic Card Reader (reads hospital badges or credit cards)
  • Bar code reader (reads medication, patient id, and in-room equipment ids)
  • Voice over IP telephone
  • WebCam (remote consultations, student classrooms, language translation)

Vigo Hardware

Vigo is designed to be hardware agnostic. It can work with an extensive variety of hardware devices and computing platforms. Here is a brief overview:

  • State-of-the-art small form factor PC running MS-Windows
  • Digital Pillow Speaker
  • Keyboard options:
    • A keyboard is needed for clinical applications and the internet
    • An on-screen keyboard is provided with Vigo OneTouch
    • Vigo OneTouch has an otpional keyboard tray
    • Keyboard with mini-USB connection to Pillow Speaker with TouchPad
    • Wireless keyboard
  • Vigo can run over the hospital's network or a stand-alone network
  • Video servers are provided at the hospital to minimize internet traffic
  • Vigo hardware is monitored and supported 24x7
